After a period of sustained growth in recent years - especially with its early adoption of 3D laser scanning techniques - it was time to update the traditional surveying equipment and invest in new survey total stations and a GNSS receiver.
Cadplan deliberated over offerings from a range of suppliers and decided to move forward with the GeoMax brand - a leading player in US market. Established in Europe also, GeoMax provided an option of durability and support, assisted by local supplier Visual-ize.
The GeoMax product range offered an assurance of reliability and accuracy with Cadplan buying a Zoom 90 Robotic Total Station, 2 x Zoom 35 Total Stations and a Zenith 15 Receiver amongst a range of support ancillaries and software all at a competitive offering.
Managing Director Gareth Edwards commented: "Each of our core surveying team have more than 20 years' average surveying experience and it was a collective decision to go with GeoMax. All of us feel even more confident that we can work with clients on an efficient and accurate base with our new surveying equipment".
