DLG Architects contracted Cadplan to conduct a measured building survey of identified entrances into the shopping centre to provide a range of ground plans, elevations and sections to complement 3D Revit models of each entrance.
The renowned centre built in 1988 entertains up to 500,000 visitors per week. Over the years it has expanded and modernised to keep up with rival shopping centres with the latest focus on its entrance points.
Cadplan's building surveyors were on site for 2 days with the 3D laser scanner taking 48 scans. From the outputted point clouds the CAD Technicians produced accurate 2D drawings and 3D Revit model within 2 weeks.
