Cadplan laser scan and provide model for West London building renovation project

Cotton Thompson Cole contacted Cadplan regarding an extensive renovation project for a site that combines a Victorian mansion and a 1960’s, 7-storey building on Grafton Street.

The site which covers more than 700 square metres needed 2 surveyors for just 2 days on site using the Faro 120 3D Laser Scanner. The surveyors took 200+ scans to build a point cloud of the whole site.

The building of the Revit model to present the exterior and intricate interior detail took a team of 2 CAD draughtsman over a period of 7 weeks. The model was delivered to the architects and interior designers for planning the new spaces on the site.
