Measured Building Survey using traditional methods
The Ambassador’s Residence was due to be converted to host the UK Embassy to Algeria with a major renovation planned including a modern looking extension in the property’s grounds.
The Residence was built in the early 19th Century and is of colonial French Arabic style, with ornate arches and colourful internal decoration.
Three of Cadplan’s building surveyors travelled to Algiers bringing with them a total station and classic survey measuring equipment. They conducted the on-site surveys over a 6 day period, adjusting to working within controlled environments.
All required plans were drawn to intricate detail and delivered to client 2 weeks afterwards.
